PeaSoup – an approved G-Cloud 12 framework cloud hosting provider for the sixth consecutive year

Weybridge, October 2020 – PeaSoup Hosting Limited (PeaSoup.Cloud) has been approved for cloud hosting services via the G-Cloud framework 12 for the sixth consecutive year.

G-Cloud is a framework was set by the government in 2012 where cloud-based solutions are available via the Digital Marketplace providing faster and cheaper transactions than entering into individual procurement contracts for both providers and public sector organisations.

Our focus is on delivering secured, unmanaged and assisted cloud solutions such as infrastructure as a service (IaaS), disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS), and backup and recovery as a service (BRaaS) services.

Cloud infrastructure (IaaS) relives companies from critical hardware maintenance burden and associated with these costs maximising overall productivity and enables organisations to quickly provision and have full control of Virtual Servers, networks and firewalls. Regardless of business size, cloud infrastructure empowering these organisations to the new level, maximising operational efficiency and overall productivity.

Disaster Recovery (DRaaS) offers an organisation a total system replication that allows for business continuity in the event of system failure. It enables the full replication of your business-critical data and applications into a pre-configured cloud infrastructure ready to switch over in the event of a disaster. Compare to backup solutions, testing can be undertaken at any time non-disruptively. Also offers automation and full audit capabilities. A cloud-based disaster recovery solution will typically have you back in business quickly, often in 15 minutes or less.

Backup and recovery as a service (BRaaS) allow businesses to back up their data rapidly and securely. This service sends encrypted secondary or tertiary backup copies into a secure air-gapped cloud environment. The recovery process can be done quickly without interruption to the IT network.

The backbone of PeaSoup’s cloud is hyper-converged architecture powered by VMware. It’s a public cloud platform delivered as a secured private cloud from our Tier 3 datacentres. Hyper-converged Infrastructure (HCI) provides an unrivalled level of performance and security. Hypothetically speaking in the event of server failure customers would see no reduction in performance, as additional servers are added. We provide a responsive environment with the capability to scale, meeting the most demanding customer requirements with ease.
