Immutable Microsoft 365 Backup copy

Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 eliminates the risk of losing access to your Microsoft 365 data including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business and Microsoft Teams.

Immutable backup copies

Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 allows you to create immutable backup copies. These copies cannot be modified or deleted for a specific retention period, providing an additional layer of protection against accidental or malicious changes.

This feature is available for any S3-compatible storage, like PeaSoup S3 Cloud, AWS and Azure, with object lock enabled. Once a repository is set to be immutable, and a retention period is defined, these settings cannot be changed. By enabling this feature, you can be sure that the backup copies sent to this repository will remain unchanged for the desired retention period.
