As a Cloud Specialist, you will implement a wide range of technical solutions for customers – new / upgrade of existing IT infrastructure, such as installation, migration and troubleshooting for solutions including server infrastructures, network infrastructure and cloud platforms.
PeaSoup is looking for a full-time Cloud Specialist to join our technical team with a focus on IT / cloud support across all PeaSoup data centres. This role requires IT and operational as well as project management experience in small, medium and large-scale infrastructure solutions. This is a full-time position reporting to the CTO. You will be responsible for the implementation of a wide range of technical solutions for customers – new and upgrades, including installation, migration and troubleshooting for solutions including server infrastructures, network infrastructure and cloud.
Responsibilities
- Deliver highly technical cloud/networking solutions across a wide spectrum of environments
- Project planning, design and delivery of our strategic cloud solutions including backup, disaster recovery and infrastructure
- Hardware and software updates to the latest versions of operating systems and firmware
- Perform daily checks on the health of all systems
- Act as the front-line support for cloud infrastructure challenges that are reported by customers
- Technical problem solving for but not limited to Veeam, VMWare, Zerto, Windows, Linux and data storage
- Management of open cases with vendors to address application and operating system issues
- Attend client meetings as a technical advisor
- Perform ad-hoc technical problem-solving as required
- All other duties as assigned
Knowledge and experience
- 5 years of experience with cloud infrastructure and storage technologies
- 3+ years of experience as a technical, hands-on VMware vSAN, NSX infrastructure and storage
- Working knowledge of updating and patching for multiple operating systems
- Good communicator and positive attitude
- Ability to project management, coordination, and execution during unplanned events
- Experience working in service provider environments
- Experience with backup and DR solutions (Veeam/Zerto)
- Experience with SAN, NAS or DAS storage systems
- Experience working and operating within multi-site global data centre environments

PeaaSoup is looking for a Cloud Sales Executive to join our growing sales team. You will be responsible for driving revenue related to our cloud offering by working closely with our Cloud Team and Marketing, as well as with the technology vendors.
You will have to get things done through relationships, F2F and influence because you will help identify and manage Cloud opportunities by several means: own research; joint planning with the sales and marketing teams and vendors, and active prospecting. Your role is to organise the meetings and follow-ups that bring together all the different parties – prospects, clients and internal delivery specialists to produce the right solutions for our clients.

- Drive sales and partially marketing activities within your skills and abilities and share knowledge
- Coordinate and oversee the preparation of business value propositions, sales plans, pricing
- Work with PeaSoup vendors to identify opportunities and joint target accounts
- Coordinate pipeline and forecast reviews
- Propagate success stories to help stimulate lead referrals
- Drive joint marketing incentives and initiatives with marketing teams

Knowledge and experience
- Demonstrable experience in all aspects of the sales life cycle:
- Researching and selecting prospects; contacting and engaging prospects through proactive outbound calls/emails/social media
- Bringing together the right internal experts to identify & assess opportunities and then put together, pitch and submit the respective solution proposals
- Liaising with the Ops team to produce and sign the relevant contracts
- Relationship and network building
- Experience with Cloud offerings is hugely desired but not critical
- Solutions selling skills and demonstrated success developing and maintaining client and internal relationships
- Ability to communicate effectively across teams with strong verbal, written, collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Strong presentation skills
- High energy level and ability to work independently
