DISASTER RECOVERY AS A SERVICE Made Easy

PeaSoup & Zerto provide disaster recovery and cloud platform within a single and resilient solution.

Why PeaSoup & Zerto for Disaster Recovery?

Continuous Replication

Zerto’s using unique non-disruptive data replication instead of snapshotting. This delivers nearly zero Recovery Time Objectives and a fully automated failback process. You can recover easily and quickly. A few seconds before a disaster like ransomware occurs to be precise.

Flexible DR

Zerto can be used in public, private and hybrid clouds. With disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS), Zerto allows for cost-effective replication from your on-premises storage to PeaSoup cloud. Zerto provides automated recovery, failback and failover.

Common questions

RPO – Recovery Point Objective

The last point-in-time that IT systems and applications can be recovered to. RPO is dictated by the replication technology used.

Backups, Storage Replication, Continuous Data Replication

RTO – Recovery Time Objective

How quickly applications are recovered and operations are resumed. RTO is influenced by the level of manual vs automated recovery processes.

Boot Ordering of VMs, Re-directing Network Trac, Recovering Application Stacks Consistently.

Snapshots are an instantaneous “picture” of your server’s file system at a certain period of time. This picture captures the entire file system as it was when the snapshot is taken.

CDP – Continuous data protection is a form of data replication that copies data from a source to a target for example cloud S3 storage. CDP does this every time a change is made.

Zerto is priced per VM, replication to PeaSoup is included with Zerto Virtual Replication Enterprise Cloud Edition, or can be purchased separately.

Agentless: Zerto connects to Hypervisor at each host and does not examine content of individual VMs. There is no software to be installed into each VM. No reboots of VMs and ESX environment in most cases.

All virtual workloads on a supported hypervisor platform. Zerto can move data between platforms and hypervisors if the destination supports that OS.

Yes. Zerto leverages the same components to protect, failover, and failback all workloads.

Zerto can protect workloads with any data change rate, if the destination storage and WAN connectivity can handle the change rate.

No, resources required for replication are consumed in a dedicated replication appliance. No additional CPU/Memory/ Network used in guest OS.
