- **PeaSoup S3 Access**: Ensure you have the following details:
  - Access key
  - Secret key
  - Bucket name
  - PeaSoup S3 endpoint URL https://**s3.eu-west-1.peasoup.cloud**
- **Cohesity** cluster running, properly licensed for cloud integration.

## Steps to Connect PeaSoup S3 to Cohesity

   - **Access Key**: Enter your PeaSoup S3 access key.
   - **Secret Key**: Enter your PeaSoup S3 secret key.
   - **Endpoint URL**: Enter the PeaSoup S3 endpoint https://**s3.eu-west-1.peasoup.cloud**
   - **Bucket Name**: Enter the PeaSoup S3 bucket name where the backups will be stored.
   - **Region**: Specify the region if required by PeaSoup, or leave it blank if not necessary.
5. **Test the Connection**:
   - Once you have entered the credentials, click *Test Connection* to ensure that the Cohesity platform can successfully connect to PeaSoup S3.
6. **Set Retention and Tiering Policies**:
   - After PeaSoup S3 is set up as an external target, you can configure policies for archiving or tiering data to PeaSoup for long-term storage.
   - Navigate to *Protection Policies* and create or edit an existing policy to use PeaSoup S3 for archival or tiering purposes.
7. **Run and Monitor Backup Jobs**:
   - Once the backup policy is configured, initiate a backup job and verify that data is being transferred to PeaSoup S3 as per the configured policies.
   - Monitor the backup progress in the Cohesity dashboard.
